Bower Cottage Accommodation is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful mountain top township of Blackheath, one and a half to two hours drive west of Sydney's CBD.

 

Driving Directions

After about 3kms past the traffic light at Medlow Bath, start looking for the Evans Lookout Rd turnoff on your right (or 1km past the town of Blackheath if travelling from the West). It is well signposted and there is a cottage covered in brightly painted murals on the corner. Exactly 2kms down Evans Lookout Rd is 176. Look for the reflective bower bird sign on the left.

 

Train Services

Bower Cottage Accommodation is easily accessable by train from Sydney's Central Station or take the Airport Link directly from Sydney Airport. Alight at Blackheath Station. Timetable information can be accessed from Transport Infoline 131500 www.cityrail.com 

If possible (with a bit of notice) we'll pick you up from the station, otherwise there is a taxi rank on Govetts Leap Rd, opposite the Ivanhoe Hotel. Phone Blackheath Taxi Cabs 47821311. It is about $15 to Bower Cottage from the town.

 

Shuttle Service

A personalised on-demand shuttle service is available from Sydney Airport or from any where in the Sydney Metropolitan Area to and from the Blue Mountains.
